Local channels costs $5 per month extra.
DIRECTV offers 250 channels with prices starting at $41.99 Total Choice package them. Their program schedule, including 31 movie channels, high-definition 8-channel, 67 XM satellite radio channels, 60 pay-per-view movies per month, and 14 international channels. Additional local channels costs $3 months.
Bottom Line
Dish Network has a little edge when it comes to DIRECTV equipment, and more from the edge when it comes to great DIRECTV satellite TV channels, music channels, pay-per-view programming, and subscription fees.
