A WebFone work in a way similar to a conventional fixed line telephone. The difference is that using a USB port to connect a computer to send and receive Internet phone. Call using WebFones usually easier than the standard fixed line calls, because they are Voice over Internet (VoIP) services such as Skype calls.

Because of the differences between fixed line and WebFone service, I thought I would need to a PC or laptop connected to the phone to enable continuous service. That would be very comfortable.

But I found that worked well without WebFone connected to a PC, because it has a antenna that has been lines around the base station location on the outskirts and the conversation there.

Which is configured provider WebFone before. So all technicians must do is find the time in my living room that has a line of sight is better to wireless Base Station and put it in there.

After the phone was connected to the outlet, is initialized and make contact, and shows a green light done immediately.

The mobile phone has the same function as normal fixed line phone, with speakerphone, conference calling and call records. Another issue I'm worried about is the quality of voice calls, especially if some VoIP solution hoarse voice.

Wireless internet access company that gave me the phone saying how good the call quality of Internet connection from the base station. Unfortunately, that sa losses during re in an area that has spotty wireless coverage. The phone also not be working if there are blackouts.

But in developing countries, like South Africa, Webfone is a good choice for residential users is far from fixed line telephone systems, and new housing development that has the phone infrastructure.

Which Webfone also suitable for small business users who don t you want to wait long for a phone line installed, and to participants in the events business, the company can make a complete office via telephone, internet, fax, and just bought a box. Whoever is far from a telephone line and internet phone lines almost immediately with this phone.
