    Confusion about T1 Bandwidth? No need anymore. Here are some general questions .... kukuweka practical answers the same way the courage and take advantage of the business backbone voice and data networks.

    1. If the T1 data rate is 1.5 Mb, why take the ISN cable service equal or better that provides 6MB Kb down/768 up? What is the basic difference between T1 and Cable?

    S essentially business T1 connections. Cable / DSL service to normal life.

    T1 s normally have:

    * Unlimited throughput

    * A guaranteed uptime per month

    * No ports to prevent, allow the server

    * Upload 2-5x as high as cable / DSL

    * The level of repair time, because the firm is likely to take priority rehabilitation

    * a dedicated line

    Cable / DSL has the size of the AUP or TOS prohibits servers, and probably high downtime. Plus when there is no Internet, there may be no good business.

    Cable / DSL have higher broadband download speeds, but in a business environment, you can only check email / web browsing / update database records, so do not t need a lot of downloading. But you can run on servers that upload a lot, or you may update a website and need to send files regularly. These additions will help in setting T1.

    Raw peak velocity relationship is not all there. T1 sold as business class service. That means that it is symmetrical, so it is easy to run a server and come with service level agreements that guarantee an acceptable performance as a child and to repair (MTTR). This is an important element in the marketing of services. If you are a business cost of network outage may be large.

    Saying that the broad availability of cheap housing treatments resulted in pressure on the price of traditional business-class service. Even if you look at the cost of T1 lines (such as DS3 to OC3) declined sharply from last year.

    2. T1 is more than just raw bandwidth? T1 voice is different from the basic data for T1 internet access to T1 or integrated voice and Internet access? If you need a voice, whether you should go and telco-type T1 provider that can provide DIDs and local and long distance services, etc? When people talk about integrated T1, which can be used for Internet access (data) and telephone service (voice), how to handle data and voice to pieces?

    T1 is the only set point-to-point links. T1 was introduced in the late 1960's early 24 carrying a digital telephone call between telephone switching office. Consider as a simple pipe T1, between you and the provider. That the telephone service company that can provide voice over T1 pipes, or provide internet access to ISPs. No matter how T1 lines are used bits, bit-a-bit. If you want to DID you need to make sure the rod end connected to a T1 rural providers to provide them.

    Remember the history of T1.

    This is designed to bring digital calls. Total capacity is divided into 64 kbps channels. That is better for the sound but did not make sense to the data, using the T1 data unchannalized. That the center can mix and match data and voice. Thus the birth of an integrated T1 line.

    3. In integrated T1, voice calls get priority. In the absence of any voice call bandwidth available to access the Internet. How dynamic and automatic allocation of bandwidth to be done? Do you need special equipment to do this bank?

    T1 is the only pipe. It's easy to have the equipment at each end of the T1 voice dynamically allocated based on the data priority best effort of one T1 pipe, is a common trick of Integrated Access (IAD).

    There you go. Now you come back armed with the basic knowledge needed to make decisions about education and closing the original T1 lines for your business voice / data network. For more complex applications of advice I recommend to use the service no costs to guide your business advisors with all the potential minefields.
