For the uninformed Internet surfer, broadband may be so, well, broadband. After all, it sa general terms, so ISN t all broadband the same? Or more specifically, t years, broadband providers right? The answer to this question is unfortunately no. And what makes this even worse is that because of the lack of public knowledge, they can only go for a broadband service to more attractive price tag. In many cases, this may leave the ISN T service is usually better than dial up. So why broadband services that make a difference? When we can not go into details here, we ll at least try to give you some basic things that II will at least have some clue what to look for when shopping for broadband services.

Broadband is loosely defined as high-speed connections. What is a high-speed connections? Something is maintained on a dial-up, or 56K, is considered high speed, or broadband. However, there are some broadband connections and they are not t all offer the same speed, or data transfer rate. The most popular types is a broadband DSL, Cable, Wireless and Satellite. Each state rate differences, regardless of provider claims and I am sure you ve heard the claim. 4 times faster than DSL and blah, blah, blah. The problem is, you have read the fine print.

    Fine print?

Oh yes, and tons. The fact is, there are different levels and you pay based on the level of broadband access.

Below the basic level of broadband broadband. This is very small, especially t speed broadband services in a very powerful and very beautiful only to be used at home and better than dial up.

After that, you have what is called Business Grade Broadband. This is the highest broadband speeds around 512 Mbps. However, they also can be as low as 256 Mbps. Connections of this type is more suited to running a business and more reliable than the basic broadband.

A higher level called Advanced Broadband broadband. This level is more widely used by businesses that have many users. This level is about as fast as re going to get and give that connection is more reliable and security features. It is also very expensive.

This is because all these different Casual many users, such as home users, not knowing what to choose. Once again, they are trapped in low-cost tags without reading the fine print that the service they get is a grass roots services. For example, one recent ad DSL provides a monthly price of about $20 per month for DSL service. But if you look at the fine print and see that it was their slowest step.

It's like anything else in life. With broadband, you can get what you pay for.

No, not all the same broadband.
