Are cb radios still useful?

Back in the years between the year 1970 it seemed that everyone was a CB radio and movies thanks to the address Convoy, Smokey and the Bandit, and others. It was common to hear the songs on the CB radio that sounded like a mockery. They're everywhere. Since then, however, CBS again if someone famous every day and there have been some changes in the truck driver's hand.
